The Heartland Film Institute Presents Insights Into Being an Independent Filmmaker

This seminar focuses on the independent filmmaker. Join students, filmmakers and industry professionals for a day of insight from those on the forefront of movie-making.

Program highlights include an opening keynote by Don Hahn, a panel discussion with Crystal Heart Award-winning filmmakers, a roundtable discussion lunch with industry professionals, and a closing session with the filmmakers of Entre Nos.

The Heartland Film Institute will be held at the IUPUI Campus Center, located on University Boulevard between Vermont Street & Michigan Street.

Cars/Vans: Parking is available for $5 in the Vermont Street parking garage 1004 W. Vermont St. , which is attached to the Campus Center. Park on the third floor of the garage to access the walkway into the Campus Center. From the third floor of the Vermont Street parking garage, you will enter the Campus Center on the second floor. Take the escalator or elevator to the fourth floor. Vans over 6'10" should reserve bus parking.

Buses: Bus parking is available for $6.50 and must be reserved in advance by contacting IUPUI Parking Services at 317-274-1390.
