In Covent Garden, London, England, we see 24 hours in a community of 29 different people (ranging in age from six to 74) who go about their day in different ways until they discover a gift has been left for them that slightly alters their course. All the while, a lonely and isolated man struggles with romance in the conventional sense, but loves in his own way.
There are no spoken words, just music and pictures as we visit neighbours and look into their contrasting worlds. The story deals with how we all receive things differently, unconditional giving, hopes and fears, how loneliness can mean many things, and how kindness is its own reward.
