There is an unhappy girl sitting under the tree. She looks at the people on the street and wonders...they are black, brown and red. But she has a black cloud on her forehead. Suddenly, something falls down from the tree; it is the "Crazy Monk." The girl turns to a child with a red sun on his forehead, and decides it is that red sun she wants.
The monk gives the girl a gourd as a gift, a gourd that, if she channels her own inner powers, can give her anything she wants. The monk takes her to a friend, Mr. Sun, who gives everyone a lantern to write their wishes on.
